Friday is the bigger of the two EuroMillions draws, typically selling more tickets than Tuesday. That makes no difference to your odds — 1 in 139,838,160 for the jackpot and roughly 1 in 13 for any prize, fixed regardless of sales — but it does affect what a win is worth. The twelve tiers below the jackpot are pari-mutuel, so a heavily played draw shares each tier among more winners and the amount per winner falls. It also makes the UK’s Millionaire Maker marginally harder to win on a Friday, since that guaranteed £1 million is raffled from the night’s ticket sales.
